My Top 5 Adelaide Vintage Stores

1. Cross Road Collectables

Cross Road Collectables is one of my favorite places in Adelaide to be, it's about 30 or so minutes from my home but I find myself going there almost every week. From paper ephemera to vintage cosmetics and bottles, Cross road collectables has it all! I remember the first time I went to Crossroads I immediately knew that this store will be my second home. 'Crossies' has the friendliest and helpful staff and make it a pleasure to spend a large amount of my money there!

I truly cannot put into words how good Crossies really is, you just have to go there and trust me you won't be disappointed! Take a look at their Facebook page (linked above) and look at their photos they upload daily and get an idea of what they have! (by the way you'll need a couple of hours to look through the whole store there's that much stuff!).
A few of my favorite things from Crossroads:

My antique and vintage bottle collection (all from Crossroads), 'rustic' drawer from a charity store.

One of my favorite bottles, antique apothecary bottle.

Vintage Mistral fan (and photo of my Grandpa in the Army during the sixties).

Vintage dip tin (planter from Ikea)

2. Vintage Carousel

Vintage Carousel is a pleasure to look in (and buy of course), the store is impeccably styled/ put together and is where I draw a lot of my inspiration from for my own personal style. Here's an example of the store's style:

VC is a definite must see with its countless number of precious items! Here are a couple of my favorite purchases from VC:
Vintage tool caddy (planter from Ikea).

Vintage tin (the love of my life) which I use as a bin in my beauty room (no disrespect to the tin).

3. Vintage Boulevard

Vintage Boulevard  is a store much closer to me and one that I enjoy looking through so much! The store has lots of beautiful furniture, rustic items and records. I'm also I bit bias because my mother knows the owners, but nevertheless it's another must on the list!
My favorite purchase from Vintage Boulevard:
Vintage coffee tin.

4. Three Card Trick

Three Card Trick is another beautifully styled store with lovely treasures (with an amazing Café next door!). The trip down there makes a perfect afternoon!
My favorite purchase from TCT:
Retro coffee cup (came with succulent), see how I used/ styled it here.

5. Castle Collectables

Castle Collectables is Cross Road Collectable's sister store where all its furniture is kept and there is an abundance of it! With Plenty of furniture and many other collectables make sure to check it out!

Décor Ideas No.1

(Vintage sieve and retro espresso cup with succulent)

From my love of all things vintage I grew a love for interior design (what I really mean is making my room look nice), recently I've been spending way too much money and time in vintage stores, as a result I have some decor ideas I'd like to share. This particular one makes me smile to myself as I walk past it, in my opinion, it's the perfect mix of rustic/country and 'fresh'. It's the perfect statement wall piece! I got my inspiration from the vintage store I got the cup and succulent from (Three Card Trick).

  • Espresso cup with Succulent from:Three Card Trick (Adelaide, Australia).
  • Sieve from my Uncle (a collector of anything and everything).

My Top 5 Favorite Beauty Videos.

Here are a list of my top 5 favorite beauty videos :)

1. Audrey Hepburn - Breakfast at Tiffany's Inspired Make-up by Lisaeldridgedotcom

I love this video because it is so well presented and researched; Lisa is incredibly talented and chic. I am also a MASSIVE Audrey Hepburn fan! I can never get enough of this video!

This is a video made by one of my favorite Youtubers Sam from Pixiwoo, this video has a lot of information and attention to detail. Beautiful, beautiful tutorial!

Marlena from MakeUpGeekTv obviously spent a lot of time and effort in this video, this video is great for learners!

Guest Make-up Artist on Lisa's channel, Charlotte Tilbury shows off her effortless talent; amazing, simple and effective make-up to die for!

It might be a smart marketing ploy by Chanel, but it is a very interesting video and if you're like me and love the 20's, 30's 40's etc you'll LOVE this!

Comment if you watched any of these videos and loved them like I did!
